Saturday January 10th, 2015 - Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all. Winter work continues in the boat shop as we do our best to contend with the buildup of snow. Knot lessons are becoming a regular part of our schedule to aid our new members and anyone else wanting to brush up. They are being spearheaded by our past president Don Clarkson and we are thrilled to have him impart his expertise. Also, as part of our New Year's resolutions, the boat shop is getting an overhaul. It is empty of boats for the winter and we are using the opportunity not only to focus on rigging, but to reorganize the shop. President Brodeur is spearheading this venture and has already progressed leaps and bounds on the infamous tool bench. The Centennial Museum and Archives had generously installed two brand new garage doors. They are doing a great job of keeping us warm over this cold winter. We are grateful to all our members that are able to endure the cold and come out to help with our efforts at the shop. Good luck with all your New Year's resolutions!
