Badger will be hitting the water tonight during the Boatshop work party. Rigging will happen on May 11th.

Saturday May 11th, 2019 - Badger Rig Day
It's Rig Day! If tradition holds, it will be raining, so bring your rain gear. We will be motoring over to Hindson's to put the mast up and then back to the town dock to rig the rest.

Saturday June 1st, 2019 - Celebrate Barrie
The City of Barrie presents Celebrate Barrie, our kick-off to the summer festival season! Join us at Centennial Park along the beautiful shores of Kempenfelt Bay on Saturday, June 2nd. Experience live music, a heritage village, family fun zone, local vendor marketplace, outdoor film, and much more. The Ships Company will be bringing HMS Lynx to the heritage village.

Thursday June 6th, 2019 - Penetang Bay Survey
Professor Kimberly Monk and some of her brightest pupils from Trent University will be coming for a sail on Badger and Lynx to learn about conducting a coastal survey. What will make this a really unique experience is that we will be using the same tools used by Henry Bayfield. The students should get a real taste of the challenges that Bayfield needed to overcome to conduct his survey in the 19th century. This event open to members only and our guests from Trent University.

Monday June 10th, 2019 to Wednesday April 10th, 2019 - Launch and Christening of HMS Star
Get yer sivvies ready! It time for the grand launch of the newly finished HMS Star! Come wish us luck and watch Star splash down for the first time. We will toast King Neptune and ask for him to watch over our newly christened Star. We will be joined by the volunteer group The Earl of Moira as they take over Star from the Ship's Co. Come wish us luck and see what all the fuss is about.

Saturday June 15th, 2019 - Honey Harbour Honeymoon
9am to 5ish. A chance to do some navigation on Badger through Lost Bay Channel and the small craft route thru Honey Hbr to South Bay Cove Marina, where we will have lunch at their restaurant. Then return to Penetang via Big Dog Channel (or even Little Dog Channel if we are feeling brave). Limit of 10 people. Please rsvp with Mark. Open to members only.

Friday June 21st, 2019 to Sunday June 23rd, 2019 - Cape Vincent Historical Weekend
The Ship's Co's first international event! We will be attending a reenactment in Cape Vincent with HMS Lynx. Bring your historical camping gear and get ready for a great time.

Monday June 24th, 2019 to Thursday June 27th, 2019 - Fair Jeanne Sail
The opportunity of a lifetime! The fine folks of Bytown Brigantine have opened their doors to us and given us the opportunity to sail on board the Fair Jeanne. This voyage will be from Brockville to Toronto, arriving just in time to open the Toronto Tall Ships Event! Get yourself a front row seat to the best events to hit the Toronto waterfront since the last Tall Ships Festival. If you can't get on the sail, come visit Fair Jeanne at the Redpath Waterfront Festival. You can view the boats from the dock for free or purchase tickets for deck tours.

Saturday July 20th, 2019 - Methodist Madness!
Fri. July 19 “Methodist Madness” 9am to 5ish. An open water sail to the great beach at Methodist Point in Awenda Park where we can have a picnic ashore. This is in conjunction with Awenda's 40 anniversary! Congratulations! To show our support, we will do a sail pass with cannon fire. This will be a long sail for Ships Co members and a great opportunity for some sail training. Don't forget to bring your training manuals. Be advises that this is a “roughin it” trip as there is no dock, no restaurant and only outhouses . We will anchor in waist deep water so bring a bathing suit, towel and a picnic lunch. Limit of 10. Please rsvp with Mark if you plan on attending. Sail open to members only but we encourage the public to check us out on the beach. #AwendaPP Event open to members only

There will be a Seige of Magazine Island at 7 p.m.

Sunday August 11. Badger at the Discovery Harbour dock with Tall Ships and artifacts table.

Should be a wonderful event! Bring your earplugs to the battles as cannons can be loud!
